From there you should scrub the transducer with soap and a soft cloth or brush. Next rinse the transducer under running water again and dry it off. Lastly, you want to inspect the transducer to make sure it is clean if you see that this is not the case, repeat the process. Additionally, you should check to make sure there are no loose wires, defects or damage. If so, you should have the device repaired or replaced.
